Notes:

- There will be limited park benches available so you are encouraged to bring your own chairs. You are also welcome to bring EZ-Up tents, if you wish.
- Those who have NEVER tried scootering are encouraged to be there by 7:30 AM on Saturday morning. Your dog(s) will be fitted with a harness they can borrow for the day and be given an intro course to dogscootering. Afterwards, you can join the main group and do a short trail run starting at 8 AM.
- There will also be a trail run on Sunday at 8 AM. Concurrently, beginners (newbies, as well as those who have limited urban mushing experience) are encouraged to attend the "Hands-On Beginner Basics" segment that will have Carmen, Becky, et. al., work with you on some basic training techniques.
- At some point during the weekend, there will also be more advanced "hands-on" training sessions, including passing and trail correction techniques, etc.
- Details on the specific symposium topics will be provided early next week.
- Benu will also demonstrate canine massage techniques on Sunday.
- Donuts, bagels, coffee and juice will be provided each morning courtesy of Excel Futures, Inc. (Mark Waggoner, President --- who dutifully reports to Chris Waggoner, Wife)
- Bring your own lunch for Saturday.
- We will have a barbecue / potluck for a late lunch on Sunday (you may want to bring a snack to tide you over). Kecia will be coordinating the potluck items.

Since last year's Saturday Social hostess, Maggie Wey, has moved away to greener (or rather, snowier) pastures, this year we will have our Dinner and Social get-together at Zubie's restaurant in Huntington Beach on Saturday, at 5 PM. It's a fun place with a very casual atmosphere --- with picnic tables and sawdust on the floor. Pay your own way and pay as you go --- pizza, steak, seafood and sandwiches.  And beer! …..and wine, plus a full bar (I think). And there is ample parking so you can leave your dogs in the car.

So if you haven't done so already, please send in your registration forms ASAP. And if you have any questions, just ask!
